Program Overview
The Education for Peace program is designed to rebuild communities by empowering adults with the gift of literacy. For many parents and community members, the ability to read, write, and understand information is the doorway to peace, confidence, and personal progress.
Since 2009, HEPUI has committed itself to giving adults—especially women, widows, and parents—the opportunity to become educated so they can support their families, understand their rights, engage peacefully in society, and build a stronger future for their children.
Literacy is not just education.
It is peace.
It is dignity.
It is security.
It is the foundation of transformation.
Program Schedule
Days: Monday – Friday
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Venue: LGEA Primary School, Nyanya Gbagyi, Karu LGA, Nasarawa State
Cost of Training One Learner
It costs the initiative ₦36,000.00 to successfully train one literate learner per year.
This covers:
Learning materials
Volunteer support
Assessment and documentation
Community monitoring
Basic operational needs
Every contribution directly equips a real human being with the power of literacy and peace.
Donor Package
Adults who wish to support the program can join the Monthly Donor Circle by giving ₦3,000.00 per month.
